A fierce new edition of
"America's Next Top Model" returns with Cycle 18 and its first-ever
"British Invasion", featuring former contestants from "Britain's Next
Top Model" and an all-new crop of American model hopefuls competing for
the grand prize. This cycle will feature a
variety of seasoned women from across the pond that will do whatever it
takes to make it as a model in America. They will compete against not
only each other but a group of aspiring American models. Emotions run
high, the women are divided and the competition is intense as they vie
for the grand prize. Lending their expertise as guest judges this cycle
are actress and singer Kelly Osbourne, reality star Kris Jenner, pop
star Estelle, Marchesa fashion designer Georgina Chapman, television
host Cat Deeley, actor and musician Nicolas Tse, former Girls Aloud
singer Nadine Coyle, former Pussycat Doll Jessica Sutta, model Beverly
Johnson, fashion designer Barney Cheng and fashion photographer Jez
Smith. The British favorites and American women battle it out to earn
the prestigious title of "America's Next Top Model." They will compete
for a career-launching prize package: a modeling contract with LA/NY
Models, a chance to be a guest correspondent on the hit newsmagazine
EXTRA, a fashion spread in Vogue Italia and the cover and spread in
Beauty In Vogue, the face of AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL perfume Dream Come
True, a single to be released with CBS and a $100,000 contract with
CoverGirl cosmetics. Banks leads the panel of judges, comprised of New
York Times best-selling author and fashion public relations maven Kelly
Cutrone and noted photographer Nigel Barker. Jay Manuel serves as
creative director while Miss J. Alexander returns as the runway trainer.
Revolves around an elite
team of FBI profilers who analyze the country's most twisted criminal
minds, anticipating their next moves before they strike again. The
Behavioral Analysis Unit's most experienced agent is David Rossi, a
founding member of the BAU who returns to
help the team solve new cases. The team is lead by Special Agent Aaron
Hotchner, a strong profiler who is able to gain people's trust and
unlock their secrets. Other members include Emily Prentiss, a former
Interpol agent and daughter of high-powered diplomats whose past life
has caught up with her, leading to her presumed demise; Special Agent
Derek Morgan, an expert on obsessional crimes; Special Agent Dr. Spencer
Reid, a classically misunderstood genius whose social IQ is as low as
his intellectual IQ is high; Jennifer "J.J." Jareau, the team's
confident unit liaison who was called to a top Pentagon job but returns
to the BAU under mysterious circumstances; and Penelope Garcia, a
computer wizard who helps research the cases. Each member brings his or
her own area of expertise to the table as they pinpoint predators'
motivations and identify their emotional triggers in the attempt to stop
them.
This series follows the eventful lives of some high-school kids in Tree
Hill, a small but not too quiet town in North Carolina, where the
greatest source of pride is the high school basketball team, the Ravens.
Season eight of "One Tree Hill" saw the characters
moving away from glamour, fame and wealth and instead dealing with the
delicate balance that contemporary twenty-somethings face as they
endeavor to build and define what their lives will be. Season nine will
continue to grow and break new ground, as the show approaches the
rarified air of 200 episodes.
